A native of the Washington D.C. area, Henry started playing piano at the age three, and shortly thereafter learned guitar and drums. Throughout his childhood and teen years he received many accolades and awards for his singing, including being named the most outstanding high school vocalist in the entirety of his home state of Maryland. Henry then graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Vocal Performance. He spent 6 years singing and acting in New York City snagging one of the lead roles in the North American tour of “Miss Saigon.”
The music of Journey it seems has been following him around. In March of 2007, he was cast in the final episode of “The Sopranos” on HBO. More specifically he is in the last scene!!!! The famous one, that cuts to black with Don’t Stop playing in the background. Henry can be found laughing it up and chowing down on a delicious roast beef sandwich!
In the past year, Henry has fully moved himself to Los Angeles life, working with Flying Pig Productions in Brea, CA as a studio artist. Using a vast array musical talents from piano and guitar to his smooth vocals, Henry has performed at iconic venues across the LA area, winning rounds at RNB Live, opened for both Pat Benatar and Foreigner, and just a few short months ago, performing on the 2011 “America’s Got Talent” Semi-Finals.
He is overjoyed to be a part of this band, and is looking forward to rocking out night after night with the incredibly talented members of Journey’s greatest tribute band, DSB!! He gives many thanks to Jeff Vincent and the guys for their help in bringing him onboard, and to Henry’s family and friends for their support.
